Botany I SEM Microbial Diversity Algae and Fungi
1 The students know about the biodiversity and also learn about the classification of different functions of life algae and fungi in the environment.
2 Understand the advantages and diaadvantages of Microbes.
3 Understand clearly the difference between autotropes and heterotropes.
4 Gain the knowledge about eco-friendly microbes, pathogens and their control measures.
5 Understand life history, classification, organization and multification of various organisms.
6 Know the economic importance of some algae and fungi

Botany II SEM Diversity of Archaegoniates and Plant Anatomy
1 Understand the pteridophytes and gymnosperms
2 To know about the origin of ptenidophytes and evaluationary tendencies and stele structures
3 Have a proper knowledge about gymnosperms geological periods of fossible formations types etc.
4 To understand the internal characters or structures of leaves, stems, roots and also various tissues and tissue systems.
5 To gain practical knowledge by observing primary and anamolous secondary growth with the help of section cuttings.

Botany III SEM Plant Taxonomy and Embryology
1 Know the flora distribution, identification, nomenclature and classification according to ICBN rules
2 Understand and identify the plant families
3 Learn about morphological vegitative and floral characters in terms of technical discription
4 Obtain more knowledge from field trips and scientific visits

Botany IV SEM Plant Physiology and Metabolism
1 Deals with various metabolic activities in the plants related to the environment

4 Plant diseases can be identified and control measures can be adopted in specific methods

Botany V SEM Cell Biology Genetics & Plant Breeding
