Rain Water Harvesting

we are dedicated to harnessing the power of rainwater to promote sustainability and water conservation on our campus. Our college recognizes the significance of responsible water management, and we have implemented innovative measures to make the most of this valuable resource.

Key Initiatives:

  1. Rainwater Harvesting System: OOur college has adopted a rainwater harvesting system that includes the construction of three pits strategically placed across the campus. These pits are designed to capture rainwater and facilitate its recharge into the ground.
  2. Natural Replenishment: By utilizing rainwater for groundwater recharge, we reduce the burden on conventional water sources, such as municipal water supply, and promote responsible water consumption.
  3. Water Conservation: The rainwater collected in these pits naturally replenishes the groundwater table, contributing to the overall sustainability of our local water resources.
