Key Initiatives:
- Rainwater Harvesting System:
OOur college has adopted a rainwater harvesting system that includes the construction of three pits strategically placed across the campus. These pits are designed to capture rainwater and facilitate its recharge into the ground.
- Natural Replenishment:
By utilizing rainwater for groundwater recharge, we reduce the burden on conventional water sources, such as municipal water supply, and promote responsible water consumption.
- Water Conservation:
The rainwater collected in these pits naturally replenishes the groundwater table, contributing to the overall sustainability of our local water resources.
